Base Pair Browser

When beginning my investigation into avian genome data, I was struck by the degree of similarity between
the different genome sequence’s data sets despite the vast morphological differences within my set of selected species. In order to provide the user with access to the contrast between the similarity within one mode of representation (mitochondrial base pair sequences) with the vast differences implicit within other modes of representation (aural and pictorial), I have constructed a visualization interface that combines multiple modes of representation.
